Interglo to Attend Jazzing up the JAM: A Joint Annual Meeting of MBNA and MAMBA

We are happy to announce that Interglo Stone will be attending the Monument Builders of North America’s(MBNA)& Mid-Atlantic Monument Builders Association (MAMBA) trade show in Kansas City, MO on February 18-21. This is a great opportunity for us to display some of our granite memorials and vases.

We always enjoy meeting with monument dealers and funeral directors. We are also looking forward to meeting with our industry peers and sharing some of our new memorial designs and discussing trends that we have noticed in our industry. We make an effort to design new upright granite and marble headstones each year. Our unique cemetery monuments are affordable and can be personalized by local monument retailers.

We are well known for our custom gravestones, while our retailers are known for the their service and engraving. Our retailers do a wonderful job etching and sand blasting the inscriptions that make the single and companion headstones special.

This year we have seen strong demand for etched markers and carved grave markers. We have also seen consumers combine bronze with granite markers. Demand for customized memorials such as Jewish headstones and Catholic tombstones has been steadily increasing as well.

Another new trend we are seeing is the use of granite & marble benches as gravestones. The benches are engraved with epitaphs and placed at the family grave site.

Due to the weak economy we have seen more families searching for discount prices when choosing gravestone or memorial plaques. Price has began playing a much larger role in monument purchase decisions. However, price is not the only factor. Many families are looking for a good value, good design & quality at a fair price.

We are looking forward to attending the JAM and sharing our experiences as well as learning from others in our industry.
